I’m Maz

Passionate front-end developer in the making!

ABOUT ME

I’m a web development enthusiast diving into the world of front-end development. This website is a part of my journey as I work through the "CS50's Introduction to Computer Science" course, and I’m excited to share it with you. I love solving challenges, exploring new technologies, and turning ideas into functional websites.

Projects

These are a few of the projects that helped me level up my CSS and SCSS skills while having fun with Frontend Mentor challenges:

  • Four Card Feature Section: Experimented with CSS Grid to get the layout just right and used semantic HTML to keep things clean and structured.
  • Skilled E-Learning Landing Page: SCSS came into play here, along with custom @mixins to streamline the colors and buttons. Felt like I had my own toolkit!
  • Huddle Landing Page: Worked with responsive backgrounds and learned how to prevent annoying scroll bars. Also discovered the magic of the clamp()function!

Why Front-End?

Front-end development is the perfect mix of creativity and logic. It’s about more than just coding—it's bringing ideas to life in a way people can see and interact with. Crafting clean, intuitive designs and making sure they function smoothly is a challenge I enjoy. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a project come together on the screen.

Hiking

Hiking is my way of hitting the reset button. it’s a way to connect with nature and recharge the energy.

  • Montreux-Riviera: Strolling along Lake Geneva with the mountains in the background, just unbeatable. It’s that perfect.
  • Rochers de Naye: A bit of a climb, but the views at the top? Totally worth it. Plus, you might spot some marmots along the way!
  • Lavaux Vineyards: There’s something about walking through these vineyards, surrounded by tradition and beauty. It’s hard to match that combo.
